After much deliberation and pulling out of hair - mine! The date for the Craft in the Country - now named Toomba Ladies Day will be SATURDAY 21st APRIL 2012 at "Toomba" Dulacca.
After sending emails out to find out dates that we would clash with over a few options (thankyou to those people who responded) WE HAVE CHANGED THE DATE TO HOPEFULLY ALLEVIATE SOME OF THE CLASHING!
Now as not to confuse you for us die hard craft people this is in NO WAY taking away from CRAFT IN THE COUNTRY But what we are doing is trying to make this a better fundraiser for our local Kindy. As those who have attended previously would know - the Dulacca Kindy girls do a FANTASTIC job catering and have struggled in the past with other events and so to help them out we have decided to expand this day to give them one bigger event. So this event will be in aid of the Dulacca Kindy and Quilts in aid of St Vincents Special Care unit in Toowoomba.
So we are doing the "TOOMBA LADIES DAY" incorporating CRAFT IN THE COUNTRY 2012. This will include the QUILT OF LOVE CHALLENGE, a Guest Speaker, high quality market stalls, airing of the quilts through the garden, Mother's Day Luncheon, demos and information sessions plus LOTS of giveaways.
