Well yes I have been playing just a little - actually before I wrote the last post - so no I haven't got back to it still yet! But anyway we have a local artists exhibition early next year and I do have a number of ideas in my head and in my journal - but getting them down and also making them happen the way I have it in my head could prove a challenge - of course!
So I got out my goodies and have been doing some experimentation with my new embellisher to do an abstract design - so here is a sneak peak - but you won't get to see it all of course until the exhibition opens and that is if I am happy enough with it to submit it!
Yes I am in loooove with fibres at the moment - they just have to be touched!
Here I am trialling some fancy yarns to see how they felt up and whether I like the front OR
the back!
So I hope to do some more playing with the embellisher and I have also had a little dabble in starting a series in art quilts with more traditional methods plus my secret love - wearable art - but so much in my head and so little time! Oh well maybe tomorrow - or come to think of it - ah - maybe next Saturday???????
